Three years of IL PADRE

On 14 November 2026, IL PADRE celebrates its third anniversary at Gate Club in Turin. Over those three years, a close-knit LGBTQIA+ community has grown around the events and warmly welcomes new visitors. The anniversary celebrates both IL PADRE and the people who bring that community to life.

From Turin, IL PADRE continues to expand, with events in Milan, Rome and Torremolinos and a growing number of international collaborations.

IL PADRE XXL: the main event format

Each IL PADRE XXL edition has its own theme, with matching shows, lighting, visuals and stage design. GoGo performers are a recurring part of the nights alongside DJs, guest artists and other performers.

At the Big Opening Party for the 2026/2027 season on Saturday 3 October 2026, the announced line-up included international guest DJ Dani Toro and resident DJ Stefano Radda.

Other artists and collaborators who are part of IL PADRE or have previously appeared on the programme include Manuel Coby, Rafa Eral, Ana Julieta, Gio Lucci, Enrico Meloni, Rashad Miraz, Alvaro Segura, DJ Dee and Dylan Canziani.

Where does IL PADRE take place?

IL PADRE does not use one fixed club. Several Turin editions are held at Gate Club, while other events use different venues. Always check the address listed for the specific edition you plan to attend.

Atmosphere and themes

The theme strongly shapes the mood and visual style of each edition. The dress code is not mandatory, but an outfit that fits the concept can make the night feel even more immersive.

BLACKOUT, now planned for January 2027, centres on a black aesthetic inspired by leather, harnesses and fetish styles.

What should you wear to IL PADRE?

If you want your outfit to match the theme of an edition, there are several directions you can take.

Jockstrap and shorts

A jockstrap under short shorts is an easy combination for a long night of dancing. Choose shorts that show the waistband if you want it to be part of your look.

Harness

A harness immediately gives a simple outfit more impact. Wear it on bare skin or over a tank top or mesh shirt.

Mesh and clubwear

Mesh works well in a club because you can play with what is visible underneath. Combine a mesh top with distinctive underwear or a harness.

Singlet

A singlet creates a complete club look in one piece, from sporty to more daring depending on its cut, material and colour.

IL PADRE tickets

Ticket categories and pricing structures are broadly similar across IL PADRE events, but exact prices can vary by edition. Previous events have included Standard, Early and VIP tickets, and sometimes a separate rate for younger visitors.

Buy tickets through the official sales channel announced for the specific event.

Combine IL PADRE with a weekend in Turin

Turin is more compact than Milan and much of the centre is easy to explore on foot. That makes an IL PADRE event easy to combine with a weekend in the city: explore Turin during the day and go out at night.

Practical tips

  • Check the current venue and opening hours shortly before travelling.
  • Buy tickets only through the official sales channel.
  • Check the theme and any outfit information for your edition.
  • Wear shoes you can dance in all night.
  • Bring hearing protection.
  • Plan your journey back to your accommodation in advance.
